Hope in the Mountains
Hope in the Mountains, inc. is a non-profit, faith-based organization in Southern West Virginia. We serve area youth, families, and other individuals in a variety of ways. Whether it is summer camps, reading programs, or internships, we are here to support and encourage area youth. We provide education workshops and other opportunities for adults. We specialize in substance abuse prevention for both youth and adults.
Most of our activities are located at The Hope Center, located in downtown Sophia, West Virginia. People in the community who come into our facility are greeted with a warm welcome, coffee, and refreshments. We are open to the public, in partnership with the Raleigh County United for Prevention, to address specific needs on Wednesdays.
